Mechanical Construction : The A.C. generators are having revolving armature constructed from high grade silicon sheet lamination, heavily pressed and keyed on En 8/9 steel shaft. The revolving armature is mounted on best quality ball bearings at both ends. The slipring is of phosphorous bronze and is machined-concentrically with the axes of the shaft to ensure uniform contact of the brushes. Sliprings are of two rings or four rings for single phase or three phase generators respectively. Carbon brushes of high grade material of the proper size are used for continuous running at rated load. The end shield is of graded cast iron. The stationary stator is of rigid construction made of mild steel and four laminated field poles are firmly bolted to it at an equal distance. Ventilation : A fan is fitted at shaft on the drive end of the rotor. Cooling air is drawn through the non-drive end ventilation and discharged through the drive end ventilation. Winding Wire : Field coil winding wire and rotor winding wire are of super synthetic enamelled copper wire. The field coil and armature after winding are varnished and properly dried and treated with anti-moisture solution for longer life. Guarantee : All our generating sets are guaranteed for one year against any manufacturing defect from the date of sale. The guarantee ceases if the generator is misused or overloaded or repaired by unauthorized person. Control Panel is fitted with : (1) Transformer having high grade enamelled silicon stamping wound with synthetic enamelled wire with primary and secondary winding. (2) Voltmeter. (3) Ampere Meter. (4) On-Off switch/M.C.B. of proper load capacity. (5) Kit-Kat with proper load capacity fuse to protect the alternator from overloading.
